FAQ
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, cheque and Australia Post money order.
How will I know the final amount if I pay by cheque, money order or electronic transfer?
We will contact you to let you know what the final amount will be before sending out your order.
Is it safe to enter my credit card details on your site?
Yes. Our site is protected by SSL. We don’t store your credit card details for any longer than is necessary to fulfil your order so you can rest assured that your online payment to us is safe.
Can I phone or fax you with my order?
Yes you can. Our phone number is 07 3822 8184 and our fax number in 07 3822 7632. Phone orders are accepted Monday to Friday only.
What if I cannot find what I’m after?
Please contact us with what you’re after and if we do not stock it, we may be able to order it in specifically for you, bearing in mind Australian Customs and Quarantine laws.
What if you do not have everything in stock?
If we are out of stock of some items, we generally send off your order to you with the items missing and will let you know when we expect to have them back in stock.
Is there a minimum order amount?
No, but in order for the freight to be cost effective for you, we suggest an order of over $20.00.
How much do you charge for delivery?
This depends on where you live and the weight of your order. See our Delivery & Returns section for information on delivery charges.
How long will I have to wait for my order to be delivered?
If sent by courier you should expect to receive your order within 2-3 days. Australia Post can take longer depending on your destination and if it is a peak time for them. We generally pack and send your order, within 24 hours of receiving it. If we have any questions or queries, we will contact you to confirm before sending which can delay the process. We aim to have your order sent out as soon as possible
What happens if my order goes missing?
We are only able to trace orders that have been sent by courier. Australia Post parcels can only be traced if registered post is requested and paid for. We can not be held responsible for parcels going missing in the post.
What if my order arrives and some products are damaged?
We ensure that all products are in good condition when they leave us. However, if a product is damaged when it is delivered to you, we’ll be glad to send you a replacement product. See our Delivery & Returns page for more information.
Do you deliver to New Zealand?
Yes, we do deliver to New Zealand. New Zealand customers can simply shop on our site as normal and select "New Zealand" as your destination on the check out page. In doing this, GST will automatically be subtracted from your order total. Please note that payment must be made in Australian dollars by credit card only.
Can I buy products for someone else as a gift and have the order delivered to them?
Of course you can! Simply enter your details in the “Purchaser’s Information” section of the final checkout page and the recipient’s details in the “Shipping Information” section. If you’d like to have the products delivered with a special message, type this in the “Special Instructions” box and we’ll include this with the order.
What if my family and friends in the UK want to order from Britain on the Bayside for me?
We are more than happy for them to place and order via the web or over the phone and accept UK credit card payments. Alternatively they can order a gift certificate for you which are available in increments of $10, giving you the freedom to choose what you want.
How can I tell if one of your products might contain something I’m allergic to?
Just contact us and we’ll do our best to find out whether the ingredients listing of the product you’re interested in contains an ingredient you’re allergic to. You could also look on our Links page for the manufacturer’s website details which may help. Britain on the Bayside accepts no responsibility for any allergic reactions the products we sell may cause.
Will my details be sent to other parties for marketing or research purposes?
No, we will not pass your details on to any third party for marketing and research purposes.
